We’re excited to announce the launch of Colorado’s new sustainable footwear range ‘Lighter Footprint.’
As a leading footwear retailer with a broad portfolio of brands, we’re aware of our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact concerning materials and the longevity of our products.
For all our brands here at Munro Footwear Group (MFG), this isn’t just a responsibility; it’s a cherished value. Sustainability is paramount to us, and that’s why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of the new sustainable footwear range.
Made from bio-based, recycled materials, this new collection reflects our commitment to leaving a lighter footprint on the world.
Developed and led by expert Product Developer, Sarah Ratcliffe – when asked about her motivation for developing this range, she shared:
“We’re always striving to create ranges that leave a lighter footprint on the planet. I want to contribute positively and responsibly as much as possible, so I consciously use materials with less environmental impact when designing shoes. It’s not always easy, but the more we use these materials, in time, they will become more readily available.”
Our product development team has taken an innovative approach, designing casual, comfortable shoes that are perfect for everyday wear and good for the planet. Each sneaker comes with an “I’m green” bio-based midsole, comprised of 88% bio-based materials – replacing our traditional EVA sole. “The goal is for all shoes to be made with as many eco-conscious materials as possible. It’s exciting to be part of MFG and our commitment to creating a lighter footprint,” says Sarah.
